Machinery Design notes

Ships are installed with many kinds of equipments and fittings and undergo construction which is aimed at safety of navigation. Machinery design starts with developing the general lay-out of the engine room (location of machinery and fittings). This is followed by piping system which is the linking of machinery.
Machinery Design sub-section contains the following notes:
- Basic Machinery Piping : Some basic information of piping, valves and other fitting
- Incinerator capacity calculation : To find the capacity of the incinerator.
- CO2 capacity calculation : To find the capacity of the CO2 fixed fire fighting system for Engine Room & Cargo Holds.
