AIM

The aim of this project is to design and build a prototype of a Pleasure hover craft. This is intended to carry maximum of two people. Regions for which this craft is intended to operate are shallow and calm water areas.

Introduction

Hover crafts are amphibious crafts capable of running on land as well as water. The idea of using the air cushion to reduce the drag has been tried by many people years ago. Amphibious hover crafts are entirely supported on air cushion with an air curtain or flexible skirt system along its entire periphery to seal the cushion air. These crafts possess shallow draft and amphibious characteristics. Some of the pleasure hover crafts are shown in below pictures
